About The Conference
The International Conference on Present Challenges and Innovations in Electrical Engineering (PCIEE-2024) is a prestigious event organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University, Hyderabad. Scheduled for 20th & 21st December 2024, this conference is a significant part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations (2023-24) of the department, commemorating 75 years of excellence in education and research.
PCIEE-2024 aims to bring together leading researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to discuss and explore the latest advancements, challenges, and innovations in the field of electrical engineering. The conference provides a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting research findings, and fostering collaborations among participants from around the globe.

The conference is organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University. Established in 1949, the department has a long history of excellence in education and research. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, along with a Ph.D. program that has been in place since 1972.
The department is renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, experienced faculty, and strong research focus. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The department’s involvement in organizing PCIEE-2024 reflects its commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of electrical engineering.
The University College of Engineering (UCE), established in 1929, is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering colleges in India. As an autonomous institution, UCE is known for its high standards in education, research, and innovation. The college has been accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade and recognized by UGC as a Category-I institution with graded autonomy. UCE’s participation in the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations highlights its rich legacy and ongoing contributions to the field of engineering.
